Defending British Basketball League champions Newcastle Eagles will open the 2008-09 season with a home clash against play-off and Trophy double winners Guildford Heat.
The new season will open on Friday, September 26 and will also see last season's BBL Cup winners Milton Keynes Lions host the Cheshire Jets, while Sheffield Sharks will travel north to face the Scottish Rocks.
Newly promoted Worthing Thunder will start life in the BBL with a home clash against Plymouth Raiders the following night when London Capital will head to Leicester Riders.
Worcester Wolves open their season on Sunday, September 28 with a trip to Chester Jets.
