Stephen Frail is determined to get back into management after leaving Hearts.
The former Hearts player had been caretaker manager at Tynecastle since January but was recently put on gardening leave and officially left the club on Wednesday.
Frail, 38, said: "My time in charge of Hearts has really whetted my appetite and I'll weigh up any job that's offered or becomes available."
Hearts finished a disappointing eighth in the Scottish Premier League, but under Frail they were an improved side in the second half of last season.
The club are continuing to search for a new permanent manager, and have stated they will not be buying players this summer until they have a boss installed.
Frail was upset to leave Hearts but is determined to move on and seek work elsewhere.
He said in the Daily Record: "Some people have asked if I'm wary about continuing in football after events of the last six months but my feelings are the exact opposite. I've more desire than ever before to succeed.
"I'm saddened and disappointed to leave Hearts but the club have explained they want to go down a different route with another manager and that's football."

good coach, definately not a manager, but showed loyalty in the face of vlad`s meddling. should have been given his coaching job back.
