Eurosport - Fri, 10 Jul 12:14:00 2009

Motherwell won an all-British clash with Llanelli to progress to the second qualifying round of the Europa League after a 3-1 aggregate victory.

FOOTBALL Motherwell - 0

The SPL side overcame a 1-0 deficit from their home leg with a 3-0 win in Wales thanks to goals from John Sutton (2) and Jamie Murphy.

The Scots were the only British side to pass the first qualifying round.

Welsh side The New Saints took a 1-0 lead at home to Fram that would have put them through on away goals.

But the Icelanders quickly equalised and a 66th-minute penalty from former Chelsea trainee Sam Tillen sealed a 4-2 aggregate win for the visitors.

Linfield of Northern Ireland lost 3-0 at home to Randers to give the Danes a 7-0 aggregate win, while Georgia's Zestafoni spanked Lisburn Distillery 6-0 to complete an 11-1 overall victory.
