Former Reading defender Michael Duberry has joined League One newcomers Wycombe on a two-year deal.

Duberry's contract with the Royals expired this summer and the 33-year-old has moved to Adams Park on a free transfer.

Wycombe boss Peter Taylor told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to sign Michael.

"I've known him for a long time and had him in the England Under-21's. He's got great leadership qualities and I wanted that within the squad."

Duberry joined Reading from Stoke in January 2007 and made over 50 appearances for the Berkshire club.
