Sheffield Wednesday veteran Michael Gray admits to being carried along by the "very high" expectation levels at Hillsborough this summer.
The 34-year-old has recovered from the shoulder injury that ended his season in March and is looking ahead to another campaign after nearly 20 years as a professional player.
Gray told the club's official website: "I was counting them up the other day and this is my 19th season, so I've got quite a few under my belt and this one is as hard as any.
"Everybody has been really good to me here, there is a nice buzz about the place and expectation is very high. We've got ambitions this season and I don't think that has been the case in the last few years, so it's nice to be a part of that.
"We've assembled a good squad of players with experience as well as youth and it's all going to be used throughout the season.
"If I can be a part of that and give my all for the team, then I'm really happy to do that."
