Holloway hails attitude

Fri 10 Jul, 11:16 AM

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway admits he has been delighted with the attitude of his players during pre-season training.

Holloway is raring to go after a year out of the game following his ill-fated spell in charge of Leicester.

His side play their first pre-season game this weekend at non-League Burscough, where Holloway plans to give the majority of his squad a work-out.

He said: "I've been delighted with their attitude.

"They are a fantastic bunch of honest, hard-working lads who really do put a shift in."

  1. "Never have so many footballers been so fully committed to an Exit Strategy than the training camp this year" said HollowedHead. "In fact", he added, "when some go out for a run they just keep going off up the A6 until my assistant has to round them back into the cattle truck and bring them back"
