Llanelli manager Andy Legg fears the club's decision to move their Europa League clash to the town's rugby stadium could cost them as Motherwell will find a "better pitch than Wembley".
Llanelli go into the first qualifying-round match at the 14,870-seat Parc y Scarlets with a one-goal lead following their shock first-leg victory.
"Motherwell will not believe their luck," said Legg. "They were probably thinking it's a rugby pitch and it might be difficult but it's better than Wembley."
The Welsh Premier League runners-up frustrated Motherwell, who were forced to play at Airdrie's Excelsior Stadium as their new pitch beds in at Fir Park.
But Well are likely to have more space to get in behind their part-time opponents on the bigger pitch used by Llanelli Scarlets.
The prospect of more than 1,500 visiting fans travelling to Wales forced Llanelli to abandon initial plans to play the fixture at their Stebonheath Park, which can seat only 1,000 supporters.
But Legg admits that decision could affect his team's chances of securing a second-round clash against Albanian outfit Flamurtari Vlore.
Legg said: "We have to accommodate the Motherwell supporters, and they will create a great atmosphere. But it's a bit sad for us because we know our pitch and it's a lot smaller. We trained at the Scarlets' park and the pitch is absolutely fantastic."
Legg may still employ the 4-5-1 formation that proved so successful in Scotland but Motherwell midfielder Ross Forbes is confident they will overcome the defensive set-up this time.
"I think we had enough chances last week to win," Forbes said. "We just need to put them away. I'm optimistic we will get the result."
