Accrington hope to sign a striker from a League One club within the next few days.

Stanley, who play their first pre-season friendly at Maidstone United on Saturday, currently have only two forwards - Paul Mullin and Michael Symes - at the club.

"It is a striker from a League One club, but I don't really want to reveal his identity until everything is finalised," manager John Coleman told the Lancashire Telegraph.
