Angus says:

This game is all about how the fixtures work and you have to approach it on a game-by-game basis.

Try to get as many Manchester United and Chelsea favourites in your side because they're the two teams most likely to do well this season. The price structure does rather limit that policy though.

Arsenal have a good chance of keeping a clean sheet in their opening game against Fulham, so I've gone for Jens Lehmann.

I've gone for Nemanja Vidic at the back. United have two games in the week, home to Reading and away to Portsmouth, and there must be a chance of Vidic getting on the scoresheet. He's very good in set-piece situations and I though he was quite cheap at £8.6 million.

Chelsea have a problem with John Terry, and I think Tal Ben Haim will get a game and he's a steal at £6.4 million.

With Chelsea's injury problems, Shaun Wright-Phillips will probably get a game on Sunday and again at £6.5 million he looks cheap.

Of course, you have to watch where your money goes, but I think Jermaine Jenas is going to be an important player for Spurs this season, so I've gone bigger on him and splashed £11 million.

Nigel Reo-Coker will play for Villa and I've gone for Gary O'Neil £8.49 million.

Michael Carrick should get a run-out for United with Owen Hargreaves struggling, and does well at Old Trafford.

Jason Roberts was a good player for Blackburn last season, but he didn't really spark into life. This time round, however, I think he'll put in a decent run and for a striker, £8.3 million is a good price.

Finally, no one can dispute that Dimitar Berbatov is a great addition to any team and with two games this week, he must have a chance of getting on the scoresheet.

Angus's rivals

In order to test Angus's skills to the limit, we will monitor his progress against fellow 'experts' in the eurosport.yahoo.com Super League!

PAUL PARKER - The former England international and eurosport.yahoo.com football analyst goes for a typically sturdy back-line and plenty of flair:

Parker's Warriors (4-3-3)

Brad Friedel

William Gallas, Kolo Toure, Sol Campbell, John Arne Riise

Daniel De Ridder, Francesc Fabregas, Sulley Muntari

Benni McCarthy, Fernando Torres, Carlos Tevez

DAVE FARRAR - Eurosport's chief football commentator - clearly a big fan of last year's Ligue 1 striking sensation - has opted for the following side:

The Steve Savidan Experience (3-5-2)

Thomas Sorensen

Andre Oojier, Greg Halford, Stephen Warnock

Cristiano Ronaldo, Nigel Reo-Coker, Jermaine Jenas, Gareth Barry, Aaron Lennon

Dave Kitson, Fernando Torres

JEREMY 'THE AMERICAN' STAHL - We wanted to compare the experts against a team chosen more or less at random. We couldn't find a goldfish so went for the only thing with less football knowledge - an American.

Team America (3-4-3)

Tim Howard

Carlos Bocanegra, Tal Ben Haim, Nemanja Vidic

Michael Ballack, Cristiano Ronaldo, Clint Dempsey, Yossi Benayoun

Brian McBride, Theo Walcott, David Nugent

* Our players can change their teams up until midday on the Saturday of each match week.
