Bristol City boss Gary Johnson will be forced to make at least four changes to his starting line-up for the Carling Cup first round tie at Brentford.
Jamie McAllister, Paul Hartley and David Clarkson are in the Scotland squad to face Norway in a World Cup qualifier on Wednesday.
And summer signing Lewin Nyatanga will be involved with Wales for their friendly in Montenegro.
All four started Saturday's 2-2 draw at Preston, so the likes of Ivan Sproule, Cole Skuse, Lee Johnson and Gavin Williams will hope to be promoted from the substitutes' bench.
Christian Ribeiro and James Wilson are also unavailable as they are on international duty with Wales Under-21s.
Johnson's side suffered late heartbreak against Preston at the weekend, with the Lilywhites coming from 2-0 down to secure a point with a late penalty.
