The venue for South Africa's Test match against Italy in November has been moved from Florence to Udine by the Italian Rugby Federation (FIR).
The South African Rugby Union (SARU) have confirmed that the match, which was due to be played at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, on November 21 had to shifted due to a fixture clash with local football club Fiorentina.
Concerns were also raised by the FIR that the playing surface would not be up to standard for an international rugby match, thus prompting the move to the Stadio Friuli in Udine.
The game against the Azzurri will be the Springboks' third during their year-end tour to Europe following on from clashes with English club Leicester and France in Toulouse.
The world champions will end the tour against Ireland in Dublin on November 28.
