Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll has handed a short-term deal to Scottish teenager Jack Wilson.
Wilson has joined Rovers after being released from his contract by Hibernian by "mutual consent".
O'Driscoll told the Sheffield Star: "By bringing Jack in it gives us the opportunity to have a look at him and from his point of view getting six months at a Championship club at his age can't be bad."
The Rovers boss added: "Whether he plays or doesn't play the experience will be good for him. From a career point of view, think he's made a sensible decision."
