Davor Kus scored 20 points while Marcus Haslip added 18 and 11 rebounds to help Unicaja Malaga past the Memphis Grizzlies 102-99 in a pre-season friendly.

Spaniard Juan Carlos Navarro, playing his first game since signing for the Grizzlies, led all the players with 21 points, 19 of which came in the second half.

Despite Navarro's fellow Spaniard, Pau Gasol, adding 18 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks and Mike Miller scoring 17 points, it was not enough to stop the Grizzlies suffering their first ever loss in exhibition play.

Memphis is scheduled to play Estudiantes on Thursday before returning to the United States.
