He was a breath of­ fresh air to the professional game. He was never untidy­ always well dressed not like some others who aooeared­ in Jeans. He was a sad loss to golf

Actually, I used to enjoy seeing what Payne Stewart was­ going to wear. He always kept to the same style,­ pre-war golf outfits and whilst some people may laugh­ at his choice of attire, he was always smart and a­ thorough sportsman. Shame he and his family tragically­ lost their lives a number of years ago.
