Clarets likely to stay unchanged

Mon 10 Dec, 02:30 PM

Burnley boss Owen Coyle could name an unchanged side for the sixth successive game when struggling QPR visit Turf Moor on Tuesday.Coyle fielded the same starting line-up for the fifth game running in Saturday's impressive 3-2 win at Wolves.

The result was the Clarets' fourth straight away victory and lifted them to seventh in the Championship.

Right-back Michael Duff and striker Besart Berisha are out for the rest of the season with cruciate knee ligament damage.

But Coyle should have no other concerns and several players are approaching full fitness after injury. Coyle said: "We've got some back from injury, (Stephen) Jordan, (John) Spicer and the skipper (Steven) Caldwell's not far away."

Victory for Burnley could see them rise to fourth in the table.
