Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted a Football Association charge of using abusive and/or insulting words to a match official.
Ferguson was charged after confronting referee Mark Clattenburg at half-time of United's game at Bolton on November 24.
The Scot was unhappy at some physical tackles going unpunished during the first half of the match, which the Red Devils lost 1-0.
He has not requested a personal hearing and a regulatory commission will consider the charge in due course.
Meanwhile, Park Ji-Sung could make his return during the Christmas and New Year programme.
The South Korean midfielder has not played for the Red Devils since suffering a knee injury against Blackburn in March but United manager Ferguson is optimistic he will be back in action soon.
Ferguson told Manchester United Radio: "Park Ji-sung is now training with the first team and should be ready in a couple of weeks.
"He'll be back in the fold in about two weeks' time, I think.
"He's a terrific young player and his return will be a great boost for us.
"He gives us more options going forward, which is good news."
Park could be involved as early as the home clash with Everton on December 23.
