Jamie Vincent is adamant Swindon have enough quality in their ranks to bag a respectable points haul from their festive fixture schedule. The Robins face Yeovil, Leyton Orient and Brighton in the space of eight days around Christmas and Vincent knows a healthy return could propel them up the table at a crucial point in the season.
"We are playing teams who are around us at the lower end of the table and we are being sucked into it," said the 33-year-old left-back on the club's official website.
"Christmas is a crucial period for any football club because you can put a lot of points on the board in a short space of time.
"The quality is there and we have a big enough squad to start climbing the league. There are only a few players who have been missing from last year and we have added to it."
Vincent, who has been sidelined with a knee injury, added: "I am hopeful of a return in the new year. At the moment I am just trying to get it right."
