FOOTBALL 2007/08 Manchester City Ched Evans - 0

The 19-year-old Welshman has moved to Carrow Road until February 26th, with the Premier League club having the option to recall the Under-21 international anytime after February 6th.

Evans enjoyed a successful loan spell with the Canaries earlier in the season, scoring in the second minute of his home debut against Plymouth at the start of December.

He went on to make nine appearances, including six starts, and found the net twice.

The promising teenager comes into contention to face Barnsley on Saturday but will be ineligible for the FA Cup third round replay at Bury on Tuesday night.

Boss Glenn Roeder told the club's official website: "We are delighted to have Ched rejoin us. I am very grateful to Sven-Goran Eriksson for his assistance in making this happen."

Norwich have also decided to terminate the contracts of striker David Strihavka and midfielder Julien Brellier after the pair both failed to impress at Carrow Road.

Strihavka, 24, leaves after making just three starts and eight substitute appearances, scoring one goal, since joining from Banik Ostrava.

Frenchman Brellier was signed by former boss Peter Grant on a free transfer from Hearts on a two-year contract, but the 26-year-old has struggled in his 11 appearances, with his stay hammered by a injuries.
