Simon Grayson suffered his first defeat as Leeds manager at home to Carlisle - but has backed his charges to reach the League One play-offs.Danny Graham and Michael Bridges returned to haunt their former club to earn the Cumbrians a 2-0 victory.
It was also a happy homecoming for Carlisle manager Greg Abbott, the former Leeds Academy coach, who hurried away without attending the post-match press conference.
But Grayson put a brave face on the defeat, claiming: "The players have proved they have the ability.
"They kept a lot of clean sheets last season but are making basic individual errors at the moment and you can't do that, no matter what level you are playing at.
"Give strikers like Danny Graham and Michael Bridges free shots at goal and they will take the opportunities more often than not."
