Juventus closed the gap on Serie A leaders Inter Milan to just four points after easing to a 1-0 win over Siena on Sunday.A trademark free-kick from Alessandro Del Piero in the 34th minute was enough to earn the Bianconeri all three points and allowed them to take full advantage of Inter's slip-up - a 1-1 draw with Cagliari - on Saturday.

AC Milan, meanwhile, gave a first start to David Beckham and the England midfielder impressed in a 2-2 draw at Roma.

Mirko Vucinic put Roma ahead in the 22nd minute before Alexandre Pato struck twice in the space of eight minutes to turn things around.

Vucinic then levelled the scoring in the 73rd minute to deny Milan their first away win since October 26.

A late Edison Cavani winner spared Palermo's blushes after the Sicilians let slip a two-goal lead against Atalanta.
