Ferrari shifts roll-out to Mugello.

Sun 11 Jan, 10:56 AM

Ferrari F2009 launch moved to Mugello.

Ferrari has announced that its will now debut its new Formula 1 car at Mugello on Monday, January 12, rather than at Fiorano, due to wintery weather conditions.

A statement from the Scuderia explained that 'bad weather conditions with snow over the last few days and extremely low temperatures' were to blame for the shift.

Ferrari will be the first team to take the wraps of its 2009 car, with pictures and interviews to be released on its website at 9am CET / 8am UK time. The first photos of the car on track will then be published later that day.

Felipe Massa will get the honour of giving the new car its first run.

After the launch of the new Ferrari on Monday, Toyota and McLaren-Mercedes will both following later on in the week, with the TF108 breaking cover, via the internet, on Thursday and the MP4-24 being unveiled the next day.
