Mon 11 Feb, 06:16 PM

Port Vale manager Lee Sinnott has a near full-strength squad to choose from for the trip to Hartlepool's Victoria Park on Tuesday evening.Sinnott has no new injury or suspension worries to report and is boosted by the return of midfielder Chris Herd to the squad.

Herd, on loan from Aston Villa, served a one-game ban during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Carlisle after being sent off for a second yellow card late on in the defeat to Bristol Rovers.

Sinnott must now decide whether to recall Herd or break up the team which recorded an impressive result against the League One automatic promotion contenders.

Craig Rocastle has returned to the Valiants following a loan spell at Gillingham and could come into contention, while Joe Cardle will hope his substitute appearance against the Cumbrians has done enough to earn him a starting role.
