Carlisle manager John Ward could be without the services of Scott Dobie for the visit of Huddersfield to Brunton Park on Tuesday night. The striker, who has also been filling in on the right-hand side of midfield, is rated 50-50 after a tight hamstring forced him off in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Port Vale.
Winger Cleveland Taylor is poised to return in place of Dobie after making a brief appearance from the bench at the weekend.
Paul Thirlwell is continuing to make progress following a calf injury and could be considered for a squad place, although boss John Ward may prolong the midfielder's first-team return by giving him a run-out in the reserves on Wednesday instead.
Ward will be able to call on midfielder Chris Lumsdon before he serves a one-match ban against Crewe on Saturday after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season against Vale.
