Hill back to face Tractor Boys

Mon 11 Feb, 03:15 PM

Clint Hill should return to bolster the Crystal Palace defence for Tuesday's Championship clash at home to promotion-hopefuls Ipswich. The former Stoke man sat out Friday night's 2-0 defeat at Charlton to rest an ankle knock, and is expected to return at left-back.

Fit-again Danny Butterfield (groin) filled in at The Valley and could revert to right-back in place of John Halls, whose loan spell from Reading ends after the game.

Injury-hit winger Paul Ifill made a surprise return to the starting line-up following back and hamstring problems, and he will be checked over again prior to kick-off.

Midfielder Mark Kennedy is still on the comeback trail following an Achilles problem, while Tony Craig is continuing his recovery from a shoulder operation.

Kick-off at Selhurst Park is at 8pm.
