Cardiff manager Dave Jones has no new injuries to report for the Championship trip to the Ricoh Arena to face managerless Coventry. The Bluebirds slipped to a second straight defeat against Norwich on Saturday so Jones may decide to ring the changes as he prepares to face the Sky Blues.
Trevor Sinclair and Riccardo Scimeca have both returned to full training but remain short of match fitness, and Robbie Fowler is City's principal long-term absentee with a hip problem.
Paul Parry and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink were preferred in attack against the Potters but Steven Thompson could step in should Jones decide to freshen things up.
Darren Purse, Aaron Ramsey and Darcy Blake were all unused substitutes against the Canaries and will hope to be promoted to the XI.
Jones told the club's official website: "It is important to bounce back whether it is two defeats, one defeat or a draw, so we are looking to try and play as well as we can and bounce back straightaway."
