Sheffield Wednesday could be boosted by the return of Jermaine Johnson, Tommy Spurr and Enoch Showunmi for the home match with Charlton.Johnson has recently been on compassionate leave following the sudden death of his father and manager Brian Laws is hoping to recall the Jamaican winger.
Defender Spurr sat out Saturday's defeat at Bristol City due to a one-game ban, while striker Showunmi was ineligible against his parent club.
Laws has no other new injury or suspension problems, but is still without a long list of first-team regulars.
Strike pair Akpo Sodje and Francis Jeffers both remain sidelined with ankle injuries, Steve Watson is struggling with a hamstring strain, Leon Clarke underwent knee surgery last week and Etienne Esajas has a foot injury.
Full-back Frank Simek is making steady progress after breaking a metatarsal at Crystal Palace in December.
