Stoke welcome back Andy Griffin but will once again be without Richard Cresswell for the visit of Southampton in the Championship.Club captain Griffin returns after serving a one-match which he received for accumulating five yellow cards this term and should replace Fulham loanee Gabriel Zakuani in the heart of the Potters defence.

Striker Cresswell completes his two-match ban after collecting his 10th yellow card of the season.

Boss Tony Pulis hinted that he may recall John Parkin in order to keep his side fresh amidst a heavy fixture schedule, after the frontman was left out of the Potters' squad completely for Saturday's 4-2 victory at Wolves.

Defender Andy Wilkinson remains the Potters' only injury concern as they look to notch up a third consecutive victory.
