Mon 11 Feb, 04:28 PM

An intensive test session came to a close this afternoon for Ferrari, at the Sakhir circuit in Bahrain.

Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa covered over 900 kilometres on this final day, getting through all the planned programme, which centred on finding the best set-up for the F2008 and on general development of the car, without any technical problems.

Felipe Massa, who still holds the circuit record from February last year, set the pace today with a best lap of 1:31.189s over 91 laps while Raikkonen put in 85 laps with a best time of 1:31.329s.

Over the six days of testing, Raikkonen's time of 1:30.015s set yesterday remains the fastest.

The next appearance on track for Ferrari is scheduled for 20th February at the Catalunya Circuit, near Barcelona, for the first day of a three day session.
