Andy Bishop was Bury's match-winner once again as Alan Knill's side ran out 3-0 winners over Rotherham at Gigg Lane.Bishop's brace took him to 23 goals in all competitions for the season, with Nicky Adams also on target as the home side continued their charge away from the relegation zone with a third successive victory.
The former York frontman netted the opening goal of the game in the 16th minute after a defensive mix-up between Ian Sharps and Rotherham's skipper Graham Coughlan.
At the other end midfielder Pablo Mills tried his luck from distance, but his half-volley failed to test Bury's on-loan goalkeeper Darren Randolph. Bury had the better of the chances, but Randolph kept his side on level terms with a wonderful fingertip save from Peter Holmes' header.
Bishop bagged his second of the game in the 62nd minute, his sixth goal in the last three games.
And victory was secured just four minutes later when midfielder Adams beat former Bury keeper Andy Warrington with a left-foot strike.
