Sir Alex Ferguson will take Manchester United to Aberdeen to mark the 25th anniversary of his European Cup-Winners' Cup triumph with the Dons.Aberdeen will host the Premier League side in a pre-season friendly on Saturday July 12, with a 3pm kick-off.

Tom Smith, chairman of the Gothenburg Great Testimonial Committee, said: "It is a tremendous gesture from Manchester United, which will benefit both the Gothenburg Greats and Aberdeen's flourishing youth development programme."
