Marseille have confirmed AC Milan midfielder Yoann Gourcuff is on their summer wish-list - but not as a replacement for in-demand Samir Nasri.Gourcuff is a peripheral figure in Milan's squad and may decide to move on to gain more playing time next season.

OM sporting director Jose Anigo admitted the French club would be interested in signing the 21-year-old, telling RTL: "Gourcuff is on our list but he is not the only one."

France international Nasri has been receiving admiring glances from plenty of leading European teams and many believe he could leave the Mediterranean club this summer.

But Anigo suggested Nasri could form what would be a mouthwatering midfield combination with Gourcuff next season.

"Why not associate him (Gourcuff) with Nasri?" added Anigo.

"He is going to prolong his contract. But I cannot be sure he will stay next year.

"He is a young player. It would be better, for him and for us, if he stays another one or two years."
