A last-minute goal from Tranmere Rovers substitute Chris Greenacre cost Swansea two more home points in a 1-1 draw on Tuesday evening.Swans skipper Alan Tate had fired his side ahead in the 43rd minute when he blasted a shot into the roof of the net after the visitor's defence had failed to clear a corner.
Just as it looked as though the lacklustre Swans would hang on to a priceless three points, Greenacre struck to level the match.
The Welshmen are far from the side that went to the top at a blistering pace earlier in the season and though at one time they were 14 points clear they now only have a six-point advantage over the chasing pack - albeit with a game in hand in their quest for promotion.
Swans boss Roberto Martinez will have to steady the ship quickly to make sure they remain in pole position.
