Van Basten picks provisional squad

Holland coach Marco van Basten has named a provisional 29-man squad for the friendly against Austria later this month.Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar has been named in the squad despite struggling with a groin injury picked up in last weekend's FA Cup quarter-final defeat to Portsmouth.

Arsenal forward Robin van Persie has also been included in the selection after making his long-awaited comeback against Wigan at the weekend following a string of injury problems.

The Dutch face the joint-hosts of Euro 2008 at the Ernst Happel stadium in Vienna on March 26.

Van Basten, who will stand down as coach following this summer's tournament, will name his final squad for the match on March 21.
