The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have upgraded their rushing attack by signing three-times Pro Bowler Warrick Dunn.

The terms of the contract were not released but the Tampa Tribune reported that it was a two-year deal worth $6 million.

Dunn, 33, considered offers from the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans but decided to return to the team that brought him to the NFL as a first-round draft pick in 1997.

The running back spent the first five years of his career with the Buccaneers before signing with the Atlanta Falcons as a free agent prior to the 2002 season.

Dunn was released by the Falcons earlier this month after a disappointing 2007 campaign when he averaged just 3.2 yards per carry and scored only four touchdowns.

He is the only active running back to have 10,000 yards rushing and 4,000 yards receiving.
