Japan's Takanobu Okabe, 38, became the oldest winner of a World Cup ski jumping event with victory in Kuopio, Finland.
Okabe came in ahead of 2007 world champion Simon Ammann of Switzerland after jumping 123.5 and 123.0 metres for a total of 241.7 points to edge Ammann's 240.4 points.
Poland's Adam Malysz was third with 239.3 points ahead of Finn Harri Olli and Japan's Noriaki Kasai.
Austria's 19-year-old Gregor Schlierenzauer still leads the overall World Cup standings with four events remaining with 1778 points to 1578 for Ammann.
But the day belonged to Okabe, who at the age of 38 became the oldest man to win a World Cup jump, 11 years on from his maiden win in 1998 which came three years after he won the world title on the small hill.
Kasai had previously held the age mark, being 31 when he saw off all comers in Park City, USA, in February 2004.
