Agogo set to miss Rovers clash

Fri 11 Apr, 01:45 PM

Nottingham Forest manager Colin Calderwood is certain to be without striker Junior Agogo for the trip to fellow play-off contenders Tranmere. The Ghana international suffered a calf injury in Tuesday 1-1 draw with Bristol Rovers and has failed to recover in time.

However, the loss of Agogo is likely to be offset by the return of fellow forward Nathan Tyson, who has recovered from a muscle strain.

The former Wycombe star has missed the last two games but is "very much in contention", according to Calderwood.

The Reds should also welcome back left-back Julian Bennett, who missed the midweek game with a slight hamstring injury, so Matt Lockwood may be forced to make way.

Loan forward Will Hoskins stepped up his comeback from a back problem by playing 70 minutes for the reserves in midweek but is not expected to feature, while winger Arron Davies (hamstring) is likely to be absent again.
