Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson admits he is disappointed with the kick-off time in the potential title decider at Chelsea this month. The Premier League match on Saturday April 26 is scheduled for a 12.45pm start and will be live on Sky Sports.
Ferguson is concerned about his players' recovery time as United face Barcelona at the Nou Camp in the Champions League semi-final, first leg the previous Wednesday.
However, he has no plans to appeal to the Premier League about the time of the game.
He said: "We would prefer a better kick-off time against Chelsea. We tried something similar last year (an appeal) but it was refused.
"We will not do that again. We have to accept it as TV are the dominant force."
United can go six points clear of Chelsea on Sunday when they face fellow title rivals Arsenal at Old Trafford.
Avram Grant's side are not in action until the following day when they will be expected to overcome Wigan at Stamford Bridge.
Cristiano Ronaldo is almost certain to be restored to the United team after being rested in midweek when they reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.
The Portugal winger has been named Player of the Month for March while Ferguson gets the managerial award.
Ronaldo scored four times in that period while United won every league game without conceding a goal.
With 37 goals for his club to his credit, the 23-year-old is closing in on Denis Law's Old Trafford record of 46.
Ferguson sees similarities in both players that spans the generations.
He said: "Denis had an incredible spring which Ronaldo can relate to. Considering he was about 5ft 9in, Denis was good in the air.
"He was lightning quick in the box as well. If anyone made a mistake the ball was in the net.
"Denis and Ronaldo are great players. It is always hard to score a goal, I can assure you of that."
While United were booking a semi-final against Barcelona, Arsenal were coming to terms with being eliminated by Liverpool.
Ferguson, however, knows they are historically tough opponents and expects a similar scenario on Sunday.
He said: "It is hard to recover from these things when you are knocked out of a competition.
"It is also difficult for Arsenal in the league at the moment as they are six points behind us and three behind Chelsea.
"With five games to go there is not a lot of leeway and they cannot afford to drop any points.
"However, that does not make it any different for us as to the way we prepare for the Arsenal game.
"They are always competitive games and it is such a big occasion.
"Arsenal have been our main competitors the last 16-17 years with success on both sides.
"So not much has changed in that respect. The important thing from our point of view is to make sure we keep motoring."
Ferguson was at Anfield to see the showdown between the Premier League rivals and got caught up in the atmosphere.
He said: "It was a fantastic see-saw game with a lot of emotion.
For 25 minutes Arsenal were fantastic but goals change games.
"Sami Hyypia's goal turned it around and Liverpool played well after that. Then when Arsenal scored to make it 2-2 they were through. I left then.
"But by the time I got down the stairs. Liverpool had got a penalty. It was an amazing game and both teams put a lot of energy into it."
