Hollands could return for Cherries

Fri 11 Apr, 04:45 PM

Bournemouth boss Kevin Bond hopes to be able to welcome back Danny Hollands for the visit of Bristol Rovers to Dean Court on Saturday.Hollands missed last week's shock victory over leaders Swansea with a calf problem but could feature if he passes a late fitness test.

Darren Anderton lasted 87 minutes on his return from a lengthy absence with a hamstring injury and the former England international is expected to retain his place in midfield.

Warren Cummings and Ryan Garry both showed no reaction to their shin problems on their respective returns and will again be in contention.

A knee problem will again keep Marvin Bartley sidelined, while the game comes just too soon for Cherries stalwart Neil Young (ankle), who has announced he will retire at the end of the season.

Neil Moss (wrist), Gareth Stewart (broken leg), Russ Perrett and Steven Foley (back) will all again be missing from action.
