Defender Joel Lynch remains an injury doubt for Brighton ahead of the trip to lowly Luton as he is still struggling to overcome a knee problem.Veteran defender Guy Butters shrugged off a virus to deputise at Roots Hall and is in line to feature again.

On-loan left-back Matt Richards is still missing with a hamstring injury although he is due back this week from parent club Ipswich, where he has been receiving treatment.

Fellow defenders Adam El-Abd and Adam Hinshelwood (both knee) are still out along with long-serving midfielder Gary Hart, who is unlikely to play again this season due to a knee problem.
