The administrator for Rotherham has confirmed that he has extended the deadline for offers for the club until next Friday.Seven interested parties have been sent sales packs for the club but with the original deadline of this afternoon closing in administrator Jeremy Bleazard has agreed to extend the deadline by seven days.

Bleazard said: "Several interested parties had requested an extension to the original deadline to make offers to purchase the club.

"In the interest of creditors and to achieve the best possible bid for the club, I have agreed to this request and have extended the deadline by one week to 5pm on Friday April 18. All interested parties have been notified of this extension."
