Tigerish Derby midfielder Robbie Savage is a doubt for the Rams' Midlands derby clash against Aston Villa at Pride Park on Saturday afternoon.The former Blackburn midfielder has not trained this week after taking a kick to the knee in Sunday's 1-0 defeat to Everton but Rams boss Paul Jewell is hopeful he will be fit to face Martin O'Neill's men.

Defender Alan Stubbs returns following a calf injury but Miles Sterjovski (Achilles) and Emmanuel Villa (groin) both face late fitness tests.

Marc Edworthy (cracked rib) will again be missing along with long-term absentees Claude Davis and Giles Barnes (both knee).
