Shrewsbury manager Paul Simpson could have on-loan defender Graeme Lee back in his squad for the clash with rock-bottom Wrexham.Lee had to have 20 stitches to his mouth after a nasty injury sustained against Chesterfield recently but could return to play with a protective gum shield.
However Simpson is waiting for the green light from Lee's parent club Doncaster who will have the final decision on whether he can play.
Midfielder David Hunt could also be back from his hip injury after he returned to training on Friday.
Andy Cooke remains a week away from returning from his medial knee ligament problem while Martin Riley will be out for several more weeks with the same injury.
Defender Kelvin Langmead is set for an X-ray on his troublesome knee injury and could miss the rest of the season.
