Barnsley boss Simon Davey does not expect Brian Howard and Martin Devaney to prove their fitness in time for Saturday's clash at Preston.Howard missed the midweek win at Watford due to a gashed ankle and winger Devaney sat it out after sustaining a thigh strain in the FA Cup semi-final defeat to Cardiff.
Davey could be reluctant to change a winning line-up anyway after his side gave their relegation fight a massive boost in midweek with a 3-0 win at promotion-chasing Watford.
Lewin Nyatanga and Jon Macken both returned to the side after being cup-tied against Cardiff and should retain their places, as should two-goal striker Kayode Odejayi.
The Tykes boss has no other new injury or suspension problems as Barnsley look to secure back-to-back wins in the Championship for the first time since November.
