Southampton defender Gregory Vignal faces a late fitness test ahead of the Championship trip to play-off chasing Charlton on Saturday.The former Liverpool and Portsmouth full-back limped out of last week's 2-0 win over Bristol City with a hamstring strain and although the injury is not as bad as first feared, he is a doubtful starter.

Midfielder Andrew Surman may therefore have to deputise at left-back, but Saints should otherwise be unchanged.

Veteran centre-halves Chris Lucketti and Chris Perry will continue after their successful home debuts, while midfielder Jason Euell will face his old club after shaking off a knee problem last week.

Winger Nathan Dyer is not ready to return after ankle surgery and full-back Chris Makin will not be back this season due to a hip problem.
