Juventus's Czech winger Pavel Nedved has been ruled out of the big game with Milan on Saturday with a head injury.

Nedved suffered a clash of heads in last weekend's 3-2 defeat at Palermo and despite returning to full training he will not be risked because he is not yet heading the ball.

Defender Nicola Legrottaglie is also fit after taking a knock but midfielder Cristiano Zanetti is doubtful.

Milan will be stretched in defence after centre-half Alessandro Nesta lost his appeal against a two-match ban.

Defensive utility man Kakha Kaladze was already suspended, while full-backs Massimo Oddo and Marek Jankulovski are injured.

Most of the talk ahead of the clash surrounds the possible transfer of Brazilian star Ronaldinho from Barcelona to Milan.

The Brazilian's brother and agent Roberto de Assis has travelled to Milan to discuss a deal with the European champions, who are fifth in Serie A and in danger of missing the Champions League next season.

"We only want Milan. Otherwise he will stay at Barca," De Assis was quoted as saying in the Gazzetta dello Sport.

* Milan striker Filippo Inzaghi has hinted he would like to play as an overage player at the Beijing Olympics with Juve's Alessandro Del Piero, both of whom look set to miss out on Italy's Euro 2008 squad.

"It would be a fascinating experience. The national team is an honour, the Olympics is a dream," he said.

Kaka wants to play for Brazil at the Games and has repeated his call for his club and country to come to an agreement.

* Top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic remains a doubt for Internazionale in their home game with Fiorentina on Sunday because of a knee problem.

The leaders, four clear of AS Roma, may select 17-year-old forward Mario Balotelli after his match-winning performance in Atalanta last weekend.

* Midfielder Marco Donadel is suspended for Fiorentina but the Florence club will still be buoyed by their 2-0 win at PSV Eindhoven on Thursday, which put them into the UEFA Cup semi-finals.

* Striker Francesco Totti appears to be losing his battle to be fit for Roma's game at Udinese on Sunday.
