British debut ends in defeat

Great Britain's first ever match at World Championship Under-21 level ended in a 38-21 defeat to Hungary at Emmen in Holland.

Seb Edgar (pictured) top-scored with seven goals for Britain while Scott Harrington added four and Robin Garnham three.

The GB team face Hungary, Iceland and hosts Holland as they bid to reach the finals and show their credentials ahead of the 2012 London Olympics.

The top two from the group go forward to the finals in Egypt in August.
