Norwich boss Glenn Roeder will be given cash to spend this summer as he bids to put together a squad capable of challenging for the play-offs.Roeder faces a major rebuilding job following an end-of-season clear-out at Carrow Road and has already targeted a number of new players.

"I feel the board realise, like I do, that we've let go a number of players and those players have to be replaced," he told City's official website.

"The board realise that it does cost money and there is not a bottomless pit, I understand that. They are being very supportive to help me get in the amount of players I require and the players I want to have enough quality to see us at the right end of the table."
