Crewe's deal to sign Anthony Elding from Leeds could be in doubt after the striker revealed that talks with Alex "did not go that well".The Railwaymen have agreed a fee with Leeds and Elding has met with the Cheshire club to negotiate personal terms.

However, the deal could be called off after the 26-year-old was less than impressed by the Gresty Road side.

"I went for talks at Crewe which didn't really go that well," Elding told the Yorkshire Post. "If I am going to leave, I have got to get it right for me.

"I am 26 and If I go somewhere where I might not play and it is not right, it is going to be a bad move.

"I need to do it so it is right for me and my family, so that I am playing football every week and enjoying it - and there is also the financial side."
