Jussi staying with Trotters - Agent

Jussi Jaaskelainen has snubbed interest from a host of Premier League clubs and agreed a new deal to stay at Bolton, according to his agent.The Finland international is out of contract at The Reebok, and a host of clubs had shown an interest.

Aston Villa, Spurs, Middlesbrough and Arsenal have all been linked to the 33-year-old, as have Bayern Munich and Galatasaray.

However, Bolton have now persuaded Jaaskelainen to extend his stay 11-year stay with the club.

Jaaskelainen's agent Peter Harrison has now confirmed that a deal is in place to keep him at Bolton.

"We have agreed terms," he told skysports. "The deal is for four years but it is not signed yet as Jussi is away on holiday.

"He is very happy to be staying as he loves the fans and the club."
