Walsall chairman Jeff Bonser believes the Saddlers are capable of achieving promotion to the Championship next season.The Saddlers, who finished 12th in their first season back in League One, have not played in the second tier since 2004.

Bonser told the Express & Star: "We want to build a team that is competitive and hopefully we can force our way into the Championship.

"I see no reason why we shouldn't do that because three years out of the last seven we have been in there, so we can do it again."
